1. The $100 Startup, by Chris Guillebeau.
This is a good starting point. Chris Guillebeau describes 50 real case studies of people who started businesses with an investment of $100 or less and have annual income of around $40,000. This book will give you useful tips to turn your ideas into money.
The author argues that having a special skill or business experience are not obligatory. What you need is a product or service that a group of people are willing to pay for and a means of receiving payment.
2. Crushing It! – How Great Entrepreneurs Build Business and Influence – And How You Can, by Gary Vaynerchuck.
This brand construction and social media specialist is also CEO of the digital agency VaynerX and considered one of the world’s greatest marketing experts. He offers tips on tried and tested innovative strategies to help you stand out in the creation of your own personal brand.
3. The Millionaire Fastlane, by MJ DeMarco.
The author starts the “story” with seeing a Lamborghini for the first time to explain the shift in mentality needed to become a millionaire. MJ DeMarco says you do not need to create anything new, only improve on what already exists.
4. Secrets of the Millionaire Mind, by T. Hary Eker.
Are you one of those people who asks why some beaver away for years to make money while others seem to get rich from one day to the next? Then this book is for you. The author describes the principles underlying a millionaire mind and an infallible method to manage your money.
5. The Art of the Start, by Guy Kawasaki.
This is considered one of the best books on entrepreneurship and was written by the advisor to Steve Jobs and Apple guru. It is a veritable guide and complete manual on what you should do to launch a new product or service, turning good ideas into winning businesses.
6. Zero to One, by Peter Thiel.
According to Dinheiro Vivo, this is one of the most critically acclaimed bestsellers. Peter Thiel, co-founder of Paypal and an investor in Facebook, gives a summary of the notes he took while explaining the challenges he faced when developing projects during entrepreneurship classes. Mark Zuckerberg had this to say about the book: “It brings new and refreshing ideas on how to create value in the world.”
7. Awaken the Giant Within, by Anthony Robbins.
Anthony Robbins is a recognised motivational coach and has worked with renowned politicians, sports people, artists and business people. From the 1990s, this book teaches you how to control your life through a very complete 7-day programme.
8. Give and Take, by Adam Grant.
At the top of Amazon and Apple’s bestseller list for several weeks and heralded by financial publications like The Financial Times, Wall Street Journal and Fortune, Give and Take explains why some people reach the top and others never manage to take that step forwards.
